GATI’s mission is simple and clear:

Create the best timeless natural-fiber clothing for unrestricted movement.

We design garments that let you move freely — whether you’re practicing soft acrobatics, handstands, dance, or contact dance, or simply living your day with ease.

At the heart of Gati is a strong commitment to natural fibers. We deliberately avoid most synthetic fibers — especially polyester and nylon — because they don’t breathe, trap odor, and don’t feel good on the skin. Research shows that synthetics can release microplastics with every wash, introduce hormone-disrupting chemicals, and cause skin irritation — especially when worn close to the body during movement.

Instead, every piece of our natural-fiber clothing is built around fibers that feel alive, breathable, soft against the body, and truly healthy for your skin and hormones. We may add a minimal touch of elastane in some pieces when it genuinely serves function and improves freedom of movement, but never at the expense of what feels right.

Gati is not another technical activewear brand. No flashy superhero cuts or monk-like robes. Instead, we make minimal, refined pieces that disappear when you move and let you shine. Less is more.

These garments work for both practice and everyday life.

Gati is not for the average gym-goer or people who train because they “should.” This is for movers who move because they love it — soft acrobats, handstand practitioners, dancers, and contact dancers who see movement as expression, play, and emotional connection.

Where We Are Today

As a new brand, our first collection consists of baggy, oversized relaxed-fit garments made from conventional cotton. They offer comfortable freedom of movement, but they are not yet the truly optimized pieces we envision with smart patterns. We are still in the early stages and don’t have full visibility or control over the entire supply chain yet.

Where We’re Heading

• Moving to organic cotton and exploring hemp, Tencel, and other natural fibers
• Developing smart patterns optimized for unrestricted movement
• Building ethical production with full transparency
• Shifting toward manufacturing in Europe
• Using ethical, low-waste packaging

This journey takes time, but every collection will get closer to what you deserve: natural, timeless, and truly movement-friendly clothing.
